Chef Michael has a cousin competing in the Winter Olympics,  His cousin, Manuel Feller, is an alpine ski racer specializing in the technical events of slalom and giant slalom.  He made his world cup debut on Nov 11th, 2012.    He was named World Champion in Jan 2017 at the St. Moritz Switzerland race.  This season he is ranked 14th overall and 5th in the Giant Slalom.

Chef Michael has another connection to the Winter Olympics in that his uncle is the coach of the German Men’s Ski team. Mathias Berthold is an Austrian former alpine skier. He competed in the 1980s and 1990s. His career included twenty-three FIS World Cup starts and one FIS World Cup Podium. We are excited to watch that team as well and wish them success.
